Hawthorn

I always think that Hawthorn flowers are very simple but very beautiful. Being native trees here, they blend in with the landscape and even in the windy places their gnarled trunks survive. They also support an amazing diversity of wildlife, as I confirmed on my brisk lunchtime walk today.
