Just Passing Through

While taking photos at Waikouaiti Beach a lady mentioned that there was a Penguin down the beach. I went and had a look and saw a bird which I realized after a while was a young Shag. I watched it for a while and thought it was injured as it tucked its head under a wing and when it walked it limped. Decided it would be better to leave it alone and hope it recovered enough to fly away.
