Remembering

Up and out early today, Trebah Military Day is an event to honour the US troops of the 29th Division who embarked from Trebah for Omaha Beach on D Day and the Cornish Branch of the Airborne Association.
It's a great day and today was made special with a presentation by the French Honorary Consul presenting the Chevalier Legion de Honouree to one of the WWII veterans present for his participation on D Day.
My day was made all the better by being accompanied by Joshua and the way he chats, and is at ease, with the veterans.
Home, changed and having collected Sam from work, all four of us headed out to the Meat Counter for a fun filled family meal.
