Weird fish

I hiked 14 miles from Adrigole to Castletownbere under the shadow of Hungry Hill and it took 7 hours. 7 hours of superlatives - the longest, boggiest, steepest, most misty, most confusing, most 'I must be nearly there' and then just another valley, hillside or track to navigate, and probably the most exhaustingly exhilarating hike I have ever done.

The feet got a welcome dunk halfway around in a deliciously cold pool but now I am totally cream-crackered.
