Lady Godiva

This statue, commemorating Lady Godiva, stands in the center of a large student-populated square in Coventry. Lore has it that Lady Godiva was opposed to the big tax her husband levied. He said he'd drop it if she would ride through town naked. She did and he did, end of story.
