Off to Edinburgh!

Ella came in at 5.15 again so was sent back to bed, and at 6 was back. I didn't mind today as I'd had 7 hours sleep.

They were hyper this morning (see blip) till the parents got themselves organised and ready to leave - Ella and Nathaniel got their camping chairs our to play cinemas. Nathaniel made an announcement asking for mobile phones to be turned off!


I had a couple of friends coming to lunch which would have made a more serene blip but I forgot - it was great as we had such good conversation about politics of course, Lynne's new play and Jan's volunteering and all our various travels. It was lovely to catch up.

Tonight I'm going to chill out - it was hard work with Ella and Nathaniel as I was already tired from our active Orkney trip, plus having Thomas and James as well the day after we got back.
