Six Cygnets

It's late afternoon and the hoover is still sitting in the middle of the living room, waiting for me to plug it in and do something with it!  I've managed to fill the day with everything other than housework - I'm pretty good at that!

After lunch I took a walk up to St Ives with a view to getting a weather picture at the pond.  Sadly, the cloud cover was not very interesting but the sleepy cygnets were on their nest.  It was very busy with families on half term and the parent decided to hustle up the cygnets and on to the water, lovely to see!  Some of them still look a bit sleepy!

The parent has such a dark coloured neck that it almost looks like two separate swans.
