Continued devastation

Three weeks ago Worthing council dug up all our area of town. Then they went away. Then a different lot came back five days later to start replacing all the nice old fashioned lamposts with new football pitch floodlights. Then they went away, different people wandered back a few days later - you get the picture. Anyway, all the holes are nearly filled in now. Except this one, right outside our front door. It is getting so familiar people have started throwing rubbish down it. It does make it a little harder for dog walkers to encourage their faithful pets to use our drive as their toilet though, always a silver lining.

Unexpected trip to Staines today for a work meeting, seemed to go quite well. Happily the traffic was OK coming home, Staines was as picturesque as ever....
