First butterfly of the year . . .

It's been yet another lovely sunny day - which was a good thing as I had bedding and towels to wash and get dried.  It also meant I was able to get more gardening done.  Lots of dead heading of tulips and watering of  seedlings, and the ongoing battle with weeds.  

Had a bonfire at the top on the shore in the evening, burning all the prunings from the bushes and other bits and pieces, even a bit of old Christmas tree!  Something wonderful about a good fire, great fun!  

Extra is a weird thing which happened on my phone . . .  very curious!
