Boris the cockatiel hasn't featured in a blip for a while, but I can report he's still happily behind bars, on a table on the terrace where he can watch the world go by. The other morning he was kicking up a huge fuss - on inspection I found that a cheeky starling had got into the cage in order to pinch the food. It was safely released and peace was restored.
