Ever since I tried to play like Mississippi John Hurt ( he 's the one on the left in the photo by Dick Waterman  ) I have been interested in Blues music . Perhaps even before that but it was then I got to know more about these old blues giants that had been rediscovered in the 60s .
Well last night the BBC broadcast 3 programmes which I recorded and watched this morning . The Blues at the BBC featured Son House ( he is the one on the right in the photo - he taught Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson the guitar ) - it was just mesmerising !
