Mohne (Poppies)
Der Mohn/die Mohne for all those adding to their German vocabulary books. Mohn is also poppyseed.
We actually got out thunderstorm yesterday - it was pretty spectacular, thunder and lightning in abundance. We had the garden doors open and the cats were outside.
Munni came in quite quickly when the rain started but Moot apparently shares my decision making capabilities. Despite us calling him, he sat under a bush as the rain came down with drops as big as hockey balls. He quite quickly realised that he was soaked and then a large black cannonball shot out of the bush and into the house. After which he gave us that look which simply said "Why didn't you tell me it was going to be wet?"
I'm off on a small adventure tomorrow. Up to Hamburg for a workshop tomorrow afternoon, and then a full day with a company from England on Wednesday. I do hope they haven't booked BA flights.
The down side is that I have to travel back on Wednesday evening. I get into Wiesbaden at 20 to 11, provided everthing runs on time, which it so rarely does.
However it is a new city to look at and I always like doing that.
