Best Foot Forward

A Rock Dove that has just appeared in the garden :-)
Backblipped on Monday.


After a morning spent making sure our house was youngish cat friendly ( moving delicate ornaments) we finally went to collect our new feline housemates at midday :-)
We were quite nervous about the whole thing as it's been rather a long time since we had to settle in new fiends and we felt a bit emotional as one of the pair looks a lot like Ed ( our much missed boy )......we have deliberately avoided looking at black cats because we thought it would be too hard for us but this pair desperately needed a home and because they came from a very small local rehoming charity they have not really had anyone looking to have them so they have been stuck in a pen for more than two months :-(
This lad is a semi long haired black lad currently called Bear because he looks like a big fluffy cuddly teddy bear and his brother is a short haired tabby currently called Malibu ( I've no idea why )..........we're not keen on either of the names so they may change but for now they are known as Bear and Boo :-)
Boo ( the tabby ) is extremely shy and is currently hiding and Bear is quite stressed and keeps meowing and follows us everywhere demanding attention.....which is why I've had absolutely no time for blip.......he has decided that the kitchen worktop is the place to get the best attention so has taken residence there ( not something I would normally approve of but given how stressed he is I overlooked it for now )

I will turn on comments again and try to catch up a bit but it may take a while, sorry :-)
