Rain Stopped Play

A trip to Hubby's dad with the hope of continuing the garden tidy. Unfortunately the rain had other ideas and so we weren't able to do any gardening today.

It was good to see that Hubby's dad has rekindled his interest in the garden and has started a little bit of 'pottering' and tidying too.

Couldn't resist a photo of this rhododendron that we planted a few weeks ago in one of the large planters he has on his patio. The flower starts a deep pink fading to a pale pink after it has been open for a few days.
