Scuppered

A fab day yesterday was topped off by a delicious meal in the evening. Himself excelled himself and made fajitas with chili, guacamole, salsa, and roasted veg. Just as he was finishing cooking the oven exploded- literally!! Luckily everything was more or less done except for my blackberry and apple crumble which had to be sent up to a friend's to be cooked and was later delivered! A lovely relaxed evening.
We're off to Bristol tomorrow for more excitment so I will be off piste til Tuesday.
I've blipped this scuppered boat before but it provides a constantly changing and atmospheric image. This is what it looked like in its heyday The dampish greyeness didn't detract from the still rampant wildflowers.
