Pretty iconic view!

Arrived in London, got to our apartment and met up with Abby! We trekked across the city soaking jp the scenes. We are very near Westminster Bridge but apart from some fading flowers, there was no evidence of recent terrible events.  Which is how it should be I guess?  There is a very high police presence on the streets and very regular occurances of police cars sceaming through at high speed with sirens going.  It took Abby a while to get to us because the area around Waterloo Station was cordoned off due to a potential threat at the Old Vic Theatre which turned out to be not true.

So it is all a bit surreal with the cops, the traffic cinges tion, the huge numbers of people. But still, this is London!
