The accidental finding

A peach of a day

Every morning for the past ten days I've got up and taken a few shots of the sunlight against the wall in the dining room. Every day I think I might blip it, but then I see a mural, or a market trader, or shop full of faeries, and end up blipping that instead.

So, today is the day. I took four shots, but owing to an accident involving Bomble, the cat, I am left with just one. It is a bit more cluttered than I would like, but that is the story of my life. And I have not taken any others today. Went to work in the morning, and was was heartened to receive compliments, and to notice that going outside at midday break is beginning to seem 'normal' rather than 'high-risk' to some of the children and their attendants. After that, I went to the supermarket. I considered blipping the very high price of fuel (142.9 pence for diesel!) but ended up doing too much shopping, and catching the bus back home. So, no further blippertunities. And now the weather is lovely, and I just want to sit in the garden and read, or listen to a nasty crime thriller on the iPod.

I am sorry to say that the peach in this shot had gone off. I tried it for breakfast, but it was too far gone. CleanSteve said he'd tried one, and it was just the same. Let's hope the nectarines are better.
