Justin Currie

My musical hero - an amazing voice and such an under-appreciated songwriter.

In fact, Jnr Snr's real name is Justin, and Jnr Jnr's is Currie.  I have a shrine in my man room to him, and even have his name tattooed on my manhood (well, "JC")...

Seriously, I have lost count how many times I have seen him since my first gig out with friends at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1990.  Tonight it was a drive over to Holmfirth, only my second visit to the Picturedrome, an amazing venue.  It was terrific, and I am thinking of picking up a ticket for a Manchester gig in September.

He didn't play this beauty, but it's well worth a listen to if you are not familiar with him.
