I love hollyhocks although they can be very messy when they have finished flowering and become woody. But they seed themselves and I generally leave them to grow where they will. Jim always laughs at me for growing them. He regards them as just a place where the chickens can get some shade!

Gareth and Milissa were up this weekend and we all went to Ian and Rhonda's to eat. Gareth said he hadn't seen Ian since last July and he saw a lot of difference in him, in his speech and general interest in everything that was going on. Good to hear!
