On paper today looked like it could be a nightmare, two girls swimming, one at 9am, one at 730pm, a football match at 10am, a rainbows trip from 11 till 415, the same child had a 415 party three quarters an hour drive from rainbows trip. BUt a wee bit of help and some jiggery-pokery and kazam. that was a great day.
A wee trip to decathalon where the big pair bought hammocks they then set up first in the park, and now one is up in the bedroom and Rosie seemed quite taken with it.
We also went climbing, and Anna lead a route that she had never climbed before. She did brilliantly, Rosie took the photos. It is a funny thing, having been injured from falling, to then send my children up these climbs and promote the fantastic thing that a climb in the outside is. They all seem to enjoy it. The party Beth was at was in Alien Rock, and I heard she did well too..
This has been a rare full weekend with the girls and it has been fantastic, just me and them and no dreaded handovers. I will continue to fight for this as it makes so much sense in so many aspects of their lives.
