Had an enjoyable day.  First a surprise phone call from a friend who came round for a coffee.  Did some gardening, had lunch, then went out with another friend over to Wallasea.  The tide was up, lots of boats, water so still, really warm in the sun. I have no idea what this derelict object is, made of wood and metal.  We tried a new place for a cup of tea on the way back, very nice, overlooking a lake. I then went for a walk over the brickfields and the swan was out with the cygnets, 6 of them! Extra
