We Did It

Another triathlon today. Southends first. My tri club is based in Southend. We had a fair few members take part.
Thus is my swimming buddy Phil. We both hate running as much as each other. We were dreading the run...but we finished. In fact I was two minutes faster on my run than last week. Still hated it though.
Boy was it hot.
Phil is doing the channel swim too.
Swim was great again. Think I was second female out of the water. Bike was good too...well for me it was. Run...well I did it.
Super supporter Andy was with me. We met my club for a drink afterwards which was nice.
got home just before the heavens opened.
