Then and Now

After an early junior Parkrun where J matched his pb from last week we spent some time looking through a big pile of work he's completed over the last 7 years at primary school. He laughed when he saw this self portrait drawn back in reception.

School send all their work books home at the end of each year and they've been piled up in a cupboard as I could never bring myself throw them away. Today I was glad we had them as we sat planning his final Learning Log which he's decided will be a board game based on his journey through the school. We had a lot of fun remembering the fun he's had whilst learning and growing and improving his drawing skills.
