Down the well

A blipmeet at Long Strand: CarolineL, Travellersjoy, BAT, HasItsCloud, Cheeryoscuro, Freespiral and myself met up at the recently re-opened Puffin Cafe. Lots of time to chat waiting for the Puffin to wake up which it did rather half-heartedly at noon by which time we were gasping for a coffee and something to go with it. Unfortunately the Puffin doesn't seem to have got itself together, so no cakes, scones or sandwiches - just pizza and two desert options, all rather expensively priced too. CarolineL and TJ had to leave so the rest of us made our way up the path towards Castle Freke church. 'There's a holy well near here' (guess  who?) so we went along the same paths a couple of times following a gps fix that turned out to be incorrect looking for it. Eventually we came upon it, a natural balllaun with wart-healing properties and everyone except me, apart from my fingers, got in for the photo. Should be a wart-free future ahead!
