Blipping Forty

A cooler, fresher day, phew!

I was woken this afternoon by the village wheelbarrow race. It usually takes place on bank holiday Monday but for some reason was organised for this afternoon.  It does laps of the village and as we live in a very old house in the centre of the village, every 10 minutes or so the noise level rose and the race passed by.  I would drift off again, only to be woken 10 minutes later!

The French Open has started and we have the pleasure of tennis on terrestrial TV more or less continuously until the end of Wimbledon, hooray!
