Come into the Garden

Maud resting...

Don't be fooled- she's been a royal pain in the backside today. I don't know whether it's the incoming storm, or something else but she's barely stopped barking...

(Charlie, the cat that died, had a stroke on Thursday and was put down on Friday. He was only 11 so we were expecting to have him for a while yet.

I don't mean to raise the issue of costs but there's something odd about the vet giving you your dead cat back and saying that'll be £300 please. It cost 150 to have him incinerated too: if that's the right word and petrol and lunch out - a cool £500 I wasn't budgeting for. Made me think two things: good job I have savings, and just how much would such items costs for humans! Save our NHS I say!)
