Underbelly
Another day has been spent outdoors, continuing my "garden spring clean".
After a very productive morning and early afternoon, I was beginning to think that the pressure cleaner, which I had been using to clean the pavers, may be fast becoming my best friend, when disaster struck...
I looked around, just in time to notice the four month old machine, sitting in a puddle of oil! Fearing the worst, and suspecting that I may have killed my new best friend, it was rushed off to the nearest hospital repair shop, only to find that it had "blown a gasket in the pump"...whatever that means.
So, that's it for the pressure cleaning until it arrives home, repaired, in a week's time!
Having to abort my pressure cleaning job so early in the day, I carried on by cleaning windows, and with both outdoor jobs tackled today involving water, my absolute best friend, my camera, stayed safely indoors. (I didn't want yet another casualty!!)
Tonight, blip-less and tired, I spied a rather large moth, hovering outside the glass door. When he landed on the glass, I thought he looked quite interesting and worth having a go at a photo for today's blip.
I had half a dozen goes at taking his photo from various angles, and chose this one as his rather chubby, hairy body shows up very clearly in the photo.
Even though he looks as if he is laying flat on his back, I promise you he isn't! He's simply settled on the outside of my glass door, and I have taken his photo from inside the house.
Just after his blip, he fluttered away into the night. :)
