Mountaines and Fountaines

In Marseille today on a tour to Aix En Provence and Marseille with our guide - Clare who kept mixing her English and French words - hence the title, lovely girl, very funny. 
Aix En Provence was beautiful,  a typical old French town. Marseille wasn't my favourite place it was big sprawling and full of dirty tatty buildings. However, the old port in the town, the Notre Dame de la Garde and the little beaches were more redeeming. Clare accent caused more hilarity when she was discussing the 'Count of Monte Christo' and the resurrection of Christ (she missed off the 'resu', we laughed together about it later especially when she told me she'd been to Scotland recently to learn 
English!
