The Feathers

Today we were orienteering on Long Mynd and I wish I had taken my phone out with me to take photos because the scenery was stunning despite the weather.  It didn't because the weather forecast was awful; heavy thundery showers. The showers did not materialise but we had thick cloud and drizzle all afternoon while we were out on the hills and was freezing cold. Was it hot in the rest of the country? I had not packed appropriate clothing having left hot sunshine in Kent. The miserable weather had moved through by the time we explored Ludlow in the evening.
