Visiting Friends at Skeld
It's been a lovely day. 21 degrees this morning in the garden. Blue skies most of the day, but clouded over this evening, and mist in the distance.
It's my weekend on in the museum, and missed the best parts of the day. It's been busier than I expected, with plenty of visitors in for a look. I managed to get out for a walk at lunchtime and enjoy the sunshine. Been out with the boat this evening, and heading home now. Might try a pint later.
With the fine evening, we headed out for a run on the boat and got invited for tea. Headed for Skeld and Madeline had steak and bannocks cooking for us. Her and big Brian, and other friends are all staying at the caravan park for the weekend. A lovely night to sit out and enjoy a yarn. Some of the crowd here enjoying a dram, me being the sensible boy with the boat! L-R - Pauline Laurenson, Madeline Smith, Ann-Marie Fullerton, peerie Brian and Sammy. Taken at Skeld caravan park.
