Hooray!

Today was the big day - we launched Peridot and Mike was finally able to take to the water!  The season is pretty short here, May to September, so every day counts, but it's tricky because Mike is still working part time.

Super to see man and boat in perfect harmony on such a lovely day!  The hottest day of the year, 26 deg C, which is incredible for Orkney!  Mike had his shorts on, I did a lot of knee-deep paddling, Ollie was in the water at every opportunity and our visiting friends couldn't believe their luck!
