Desperately seeking shade

Gorgeous day. Most of it spent pottering in the garden. Eventually I decided to give in and laze in the shade, only problem is the sun had gone towards the west and there want much shade to be had with it from that direction.

Normally the lack of trees in our garden doesn't bother me but on a day like this it would be lovely to have a big canopy to retreat under no matter where the sun was. I had to resort to an old golf brolly instead.

Later we went into town to pick up the youngling who had been sweating away at work in the garden centre all day. Took him for a chippy and then to see Guardians of the galaxy.... a great day all round, even with the lack of shade.
