Being spontaneous

It was a glorious day, and I had taken the afternoon off work. 
A phoned at lunchtime to say that as it was such a lovely day, he had booked a table for dinner at Largs Marina.

So Iain got a long practice drive on a wide variety of roads, we had a lovely dinner (lobster & langoustines), then a walk into Largs to buy an ice cream from Nardinis. I even got a chance to play with my camera. The sun wasn't quite low enough in the sky, but I did manage a couple of reasonable shots, this one and the extra. 

Bella even got some treat from the table (see extra for her looking hopeful)
