Forward defensive stroke...

What better way to spend a warm sunny, if quite windy Saturday afternoon?  The new camera club challenge is 'Action' so I took myself off to the next village to try my hand at cricket (photography)... Like my experience photographing a football match I found it more difficult than I thought it would be to get some half way decent shots. Unlike football the language on and off the pitch was much more suitable for family entertainment!

The value of a good forward defensive stroke is something I've failed to get Margaret to appreciate let alone practice...

The extra is the long lonely walk that I guess we all have had to make at some time in our lives...
