Fish out of water

A dedicated sewing day today - putting the sashings on my  quilt and it was more demanding than I expected.  But I am getting there.

My fish out of water (there is only one - I did a bit of cut and pasting for the others) has quite an history.

KG made this fish for me just afte we were married (over 50 years ago) and never found anywhere to put it.  It took about 10 years for him  to do the scales and it has lived in a corner of the garage I recently noticed the fish again and tackled him about putting it up - Yes he said I will put ii in the summer house so now I look at every day from my kitchen window.

So he floats on the back of the summer house like a fish out of water.
