utter frustration

Want a perfect way to make someone feel frustrated and rather inept and useless...

Tell them that despite 6 years of formal lessons, with a total of 12 years playing classical guitar, that its time to start from the beginning again...to forget absolutely all the technique and everything...

Here's today's lesson... the I IV V progression in the keys of G major and D major... GCD^7 and DGA^7... I IV I V I is the five parts to it...where I can correspond to G, IV corresponds to C, and V corresponds to D^7. Followed by D = I, G = IV, and A^7 = V...

I think this is going to be harder for me than expected, purely based on the relearning to suite another teachers style and expectations...and the lack of actually playing anything that would constitute music.
