After You Mate!
Today was Bathgate (West Lothian) Highland Games and the good weather largely held until thunder and lightning arrived just as it was ending.
Part of the Games is the Cairnpapple Hill Race, over a 8.3Km course which includes climbing to the top of Cairnpapple Hill rising 180m behind Bathgate but more importantly goes right past our front door!
Males and females of all ages compete and 45 minutes after they've passed on the way out they trickle past again on the way home.
Well done to them all but especially this guy who really entered into the spirit of the day :-)))
In other news Celtic beat Aberdeen 2-1 in the Scottish Cup Final, so that's another night in The Shed for me whilst Mrs B basks in her green and white glory :-(((
