The flowers are slightly bizarre looking but very cheery.

Wondering how to stop Fruitcake cat being the garden wildlife's Enemy No 1. We've taken to keeping her inside all day now while there are so many babies of all descriptions flying, slithering and wriggling their way to adulthood. Seems very mean to not let her outside but she cannot be trusted and I'd rather the baby grass snakes, slow worms, birds and toads had a vaguely fighting chance to grow up.

Tomatoes now in their big pots, dahlias were done yesterday. Now relying on our resident toads to keep them all safe from the slime merchants.
