Room with a view

and a fair bit of wind!

Lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay in this wigwam amongst the windmills for the night. Arrived in the evening and had some lovely walks around the site.

Great place to watch the weather and light and clouds. KK played in the bog having a great time where he came face to face with a red grouse. He could describe it in good detail so they must have looked at each other for a few seconds before it left.

I had promised him he could sleep outside all night so we brought a bivvy bag for his sleeping bag. After hot chocolate he found a great place near the wigwam and settled down to watch the clouds and the turbines lull him to sleep. When it got dark he was a little more worried about deer and things in the night so he returned inside. Good on him for having a go and I hope he will have another sleep out soon.

We had a good sleep inside lulled by the whoosh of turbines and the fresh air and the peace. I have put a couple in extras to give you an idea of the place.
