I didn't set the alarm, but woke up earlyish anyway. Left the house at 8.08 (really I did, anyway who thought I was ready at, say, 8.04am and then just hung around for 4 minutes so I could crowbar a musical reference in at the end is mistaken. Honest). A decent ride out to the usual places and back via a couple of countryside loops, Lamancha and that 'middle road' back to Penicuik, before arriving home after 102km. I was cooked. Nowt too strenuous planned for the rest of the day, although that laptop of mine is quite heavy and I need to lift it in to the bedroom so I can lie on me bed and watch today's Giro. Think I'll manage, just about.
