What A Day......

When we arrived to get the kids ready for school we were told that after we had collected them at lunchtime that would be us done - Bags had phoned her boss and asked if she could get a half day (to take advantage of the sunshine) and he said Yes.
So with that and the fact we have Monday free from both kids and dog SWMBO made enquiries on t'interweb and made a hotel booking so that we could make a trip see No1 and family.

Before picking up the monsters I took some pictures to go into my 'Shadows' project.

After lunch, giving PD a quick walk before dropping him off at his home (his owners wouldn't be long as they were already half way round the golf course) we headed off to Glasgow to collect a new cable for my camera's radio triggers.
The intention was a quick trip through and then down the motorway from there ....... half an hour extra on the trip.
How wrong that turned out to be!
There was a lorry broken down past our exit. It must have been across the 3 lanes judging by the traffic hold ups!
2 hours extra on our journey! With the temperature at 29C.
I was not a happy bunny.

However, When we got to the hotel were were joined by our Ray Of Sunshine and Butterfly who had been kept up for the occasion and although very sleepy soon started bouncing around and making everything worthwhile.

Due to my computer not letting me get onto the hotel's insecure t'interweb this is a Back Blip being done at No1 Son's house and I am not going to do pictures and waste time when I could be playing with Butterfly.

So you need to wait to see her.
