Woke up

to the sound of torrential rain and the front spouting overflowing onto the terrace, just too rain for it to handle.  Very heavy downpours continued throughout the day.   A lot of leaves which were on the trees yesterday now lay on the ground like these from the weeping cherry on our front lawn.
