At long last the bathroom is installed and usable. Mum and I were out here there and everywhere for ages today while it was being finished, and she told me over a cheeky iced frappe in Costa Coffee (Belgian Chocolate for her, Strawberries & Cream for me) that in all her 90 years she's never had a shower - only baths! All that remains to be done in the bathroom is to lay some new flooring and box in the pipes.

We're both shattered, and I hope that Mum will feel less exhausted tomorrow. She somehow kept going today despite suffering so much pain and weakness in her legs - what a trouper.
