Started the day with a FaceTime to wish Zion a happy third birthday, so good we can at least do that... what a joy he's been to us!

Mike had his last appointment with the dentist in Mora today, so we carried on from there to spend the night with colleagues in Caldas da Rainha, north of Lisbon, as we have a meeting here tomorrow.

Took advantage to have a walk on the beach at Foz do Arelho, where the river becomes a lagoon - the tide was going out, dramatic to watch the water pouring and churning out into a wild sea.
