Veronica what?

Yet another sunny, lovely day!  This is a variety of veronica, but I can't remember which.  I thought it was V. spicata, but have been told it's not.  And suggestions welcome!

Being a Tuesday I went riding, but also took visiting friend Ann along with me.  Her first time on a horse for many years, but she thoroughly enjoyed it.  Age is no barrier to having fun - especially in her case!  Riding with two women in their 70s makes me feel like a young thing!
