Flower Friday: Rhododendron
...or possibly, "Azalea"??
Just when I thought I was starting to recognise some of the local flora (I am notorious for being botanically challenged), Rachael pointed out that these two are more or less the same thing. I had a very simple world view in which "those yellow things over there" were azaleas, and all the other odd-looking things were, I blithely assumed, rhoddies. Now I have to come to terms with the fact we have all sorts of colours and shapes of BOTH in the garden, and my mind is totally blown just in time for the weekend!
