Model Pupils

If there's something my class really enjoy it's being creative. They love anything arty; painting, drawing, clay.... so making a model Anglo- Saxon village was right up their street. We've had 6 weeks of sawing, painting, cutting and gluing. I've taken the skin of my hands cutting through cardboard, burned my fingers with the glue gun and nearly lost a couple of digits with the hack saw but it's all been worth it.
The little machine on the front plays a recorded message when you press each button, with the children explaining what they did and how they did it. Their houses are numbered so you know who made which building.
I'm pretty pleased with the end result and so are they.
Oh, and there are 2 layers because the bottom layer is the mythological underworld, full of monsters and beasties, obvs.

Had an interview today and got the job so off to pastures new in September.
