when Mandy Disher won a prize in 2016 the bbc did a piece on her and i thought i'd like to give it a go.  the kindly Mister found all sorts of ferns and grass for me, but i never got around to it.
why i thought the hottest day of the year was a good day to drag out the light pad and faff about with tripods, remote controls, & 2 extension leads is beyond me and the Radish, over whom i nearly tripped several times.  i blame Emma Davies entirely!
i failed to find the right spot in which to take the pic and in the end was reduced to processing the hell out of a part of the image.

i got so annoyed with myself that i jammed all the stems in a jar and nearly posted it as my blip.  but i'm glad i persevered with the original.
