It's not every day that I get invited to a 90th birthday party...so here is a portrait of Virginia, the glamorous birthday girl.

This afternoon I had an appointment to take another couple of portraits for my "Humans of Dumfries and Galloway" Facebook page, which I'll be working on later today.

Tonight I'm very excited to be going out again - to a concert at the Easterbrook hall by the amazing Karine Polwart, called Wind Resistance.
