Heron Statue

I walked through Candie Gardens and I was surprised to see what I thought was a statue of a Heron. I discovered when it looked at me that it was real.. fabulous place to visit and very close to the centre of St Peter Port. :)
Extra of a duckling half way through it's hatch. The red part seen around the shell has to be absorbed by the duckling as it hatches. It was out after a few more hours and has joined the growing band of ducklings
